1.The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has received a loan from JapanInternational Cooperation Agency (JICA) toward the cost of Power Distribution SystemImprovement Project in Major Cities. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan willbe applied to eligible payments under the Contract for Procurement of Power DistributionSystem Improvement Project in Major Cities, Package 12 Introduction of Utility Vehicles.
2.Bidding will be conducted through procedures in accordance with the applicable Guidelinesfor Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans, and is open to all Bidders from eligible sourcecountries, as defined in the Loan Agreement.
3.The Mandalay Electricity Supply Corporation now invites sealed Bids from eligible andqualified Bidders for the procurement of Utility Vehicles (“the Goods”).
a)Truck Mount Aerial Work Platform 2 Nos. to be delivered to designated place inMyanmar
b)Digger and Pole Erection Machine 2 Nos. to be delivered to designated place in Myanmar
4.Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the BiddingDocuments at the office of Mandalay Electricity Supply Corporation (MESC), Ministry ofElectricity and Energy (MOEE), 27th Street, Between 77 and 78 Street, Chan Aye Thar ZanTownship, Mandalay, Myanmar.
5.A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on thesubmission of a written application to the address above, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee: MMK 15,000 or 10 Dollar
As special measures in consideration with the restriction or constraint on moving to Mandalay City due to COVID-19, a complete set of Bidding Documents can be purchased by means of prepaying a fee by bank transfer and sending PDF files to an interested Bidder by e-mail.

6.The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract arethe provisions of the Standard Bidding Documents under Japanese ODA Loans for theProcurement of Goods.
7.Bids must be delivered to the above address at or before 14:00 on 9 March 2021 and mustbe accompanied by a Bid Security of 20,000USD.
8.Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at14:00 on 9 March 2021 at the office of
